What we collect

FPTWaze has no user accounts, and the site's own code sets no cookies (Google Analytics and Google AdSense, described below, do). Our servers and our network provider (Cloudflare) process technical data such as IP address, browser type and requested page in order to deliver and protect the site. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.

Data kept in your browser

Followed programs, your stack drafts, the edit links of stacks you created and a random anonymous id used for stars are stored in your browser's local storage, not in cookies. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Stacks, stars and reports

When you publish a stack, its title, description, optional name and list of programs are public. When you star a kit or stack or send a report, we store the anonymous browser id and a one-way hash of your IP address to prevent repeated votes and abuse. We cannot recover your IP address from that hash, and we do not link it to any other data.

Advertising

We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure their performance, including personalized ads where you have agreed to them. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent message before such cookies are used.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, time on page, referring sites, approximate region and device type) so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies; the data is aggregated and does not identify you. In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it only stores cookies after you agree in the consent message.
