Illustrator CS6 system requirements:

- Intel® Pentium® 4 or AMD Athlon® 64 processor
- Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 3 or Windows 7 with Service Pack 1. Adobe® Creative Suite® 5.5 and CS6 applications also support Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Refer to the CS6 FAQ for more information about Windows 8 support.
- 1 GB of RAM (3 GB recommended) for 32 bit; 2 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended) for 64 bit
- 2 GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on removable flash storage devices)
- 1024 x 768 display (1280 x 800 recommended) with 16-bit graphics adapter
- DVD-ROM drive compatible with dual-layer DVDs
- Some features in Adobe® Bridge rely on a DirectX 9–capable video adapter with at least 64 MB of VRAM
